Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup white and/or brown sugar
- 3/8 cup mixture of butter and canola oil
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- few drops of vanilla extract
- chocolate bar / chocolate chips
Procedure:
- Whisk together sugar, salt, and butter in a large bowl until a paste forms with no lumps.
- Whisk in egg and vanilla extract.
- Sift it flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. (Do not overmix!)
- Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake.
Microwave oven: Microwave for 40-45 sec at 700 W.
Oven toaster: Pre-heat the oven and bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes. - Let the cookies cool a bit before serving!
