Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients: 

  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup white and/or brown sugar
  • 3/8 cup mixture of butter and canola oil
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • few drops of vanilla extract
  • chocolate bar / chocolate chips

Procedure: 

  1. Whisk together sugar, salt, and butter in a large bowl until a paste forms with no lumps.
  2. Whisk in egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Sift it flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. (Do not overmix!)
  4. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  5. Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Bake.
    Microwave oven: Microwave for 40-45 sec at 700 W.
    Oven toaster: Pre-heat the oven and bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool a bit before serving!
