Fudge Brownies

 


Ingredients:

  • 220 g (8 oz) of chocolate bar
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs (medium size)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 50 g nuts (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Melt half of the chocolate and crush the other half into small chunks.
  2. On a separate bowl, add the melted butter and mix the sugar little by little to make sure that no lumps are formed.
  3. Whisk in the eggs and add the vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Thoroughly mix the melted chocolate into the bowl.
  5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Again, mix well.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks and nuts of your choice.
  7. Spread evenly in a mold and bake at180°C for 30 - 45 minutes.
  8. Cool the baked brownies for about 10 - 15 minutes before cutting and removing in the mold.
  9. Serve and enjoy the fudge-y goodness! :)
