
Ingredients:
- 220 g (8 oz) of chocolate bar
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs (medium size)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 50 g nuts (optional)
Procedure:
- Melt half of the chocolate and crush the other half into small chunks.
- On a separate bowl, add the melted butter and mix the sugar little by little to make sure that no lumps are formed.
- Whisk in the eggs and add the vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Thoroughly mix the melted chocolate into the bowl.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Again, mix well.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks and nuts of your choice.
- Spread evenly in a mold and bake at180°C for 30 - 45 minutes.
- Cool the baked brownies for about 10 - 15 minutes before cutting and removing in the mold.
- Serve and enjoy the fudge-y goodness! :)
